The DEMK difference
Bringing over 25 years of construction experience and building expertise to custom homes and renovations across Melbourne.
Bringing over 25 years of construction experience and building expertise to custom homes and renovations across Melbourne.
Founded by Serdar Semirli, known as Sage, in 2019, DEMK grew from a belief that good building should create something lasting and meaningful.

A home becomes part of a street, a neighbourhood and the everyday life of the people who live there. It starts as an idea, then slowly takes shape through hundreds of decisions, details and hands until it becomes a place where life actually happens.

That is what makes building meaningful to us. We build with care, knowing each home will become part of someone’s everyday life and should continue to serve them for years to come.
Built to last
Engineering background meets site experience
With a strong background in engineering, we bring a structured, disciplined approach to every project we undertake. This technical background shapes how we analyse complex plans, solve structural challenges early, and coordinate trades on site. As registered builders, we combine this engineering mindset with over 25 years of hands-on site experience to ensure precision at every stage of construction.
Our Story
The DEMK difference is in
how we manage your project.
DEMK Constructions delivers custom homes, renovations and complex residential projects across Melbourne. The DEMK Difference comes from staying closely involved, managing each project carefully and taking genuine pride in the homes and spaces we create.
Clear communication and execution
A successful build depends on how seamlessly the design, trades, and site conditions work together. Over 25 years on site, we’ve seen how easily projects fall apart when communication is poor or standards slip. That’s why DEMK operates on a simple principle: thorough planning, honest communication, and uncompromised build quality from day one.
I want every homeowner who builds with DEMK to feel confident before, during and after construction — knowing their home has been built properly, carefully managed and supported beyond handover.

What our clients say
The DEMK Team constructed an excellent bathroom renovation for us that was safe, functional and visually appealing. The result was a bathroom conversion that met all expectations. From the outset, DEMK's approach was friendly and professional. They took care to understand our requirements and design a bathroom layout that met those requirements within the available space. Happy to recommend DEMK's services!
Sage and his team did a fantastic job with both our bathrooms and kitchen. From start to finish, it was nothing but professional service and quality workmanship. Nino was only too happy to give advise on what he believed was best, and we went with what he thought all the time. Would always recommend DEMK constructions. Top service and honest and trustworthy company.
This team are a well oiled machine! They are quick, efficient and execute to a high standard. I had complete reassurance that no short cuts were being taken and a high quality finished bathroom was the goal. When challenges arose (as they will) Nino was always there to explain the concern, present solutions and check that I was happy with the path forward. Overall a great experience and an even better result, the new bathroom is perfect!
